Two people. No middle layer.

Aster Works is Henry & Nissa Neves — a decade designing for government, enterprise and international brands, now working from Southbourne for businesses across the UK and Europe.

A02 The story

For over a decade, Henry led UX and UI work for UK government services, international brands like De’Longhi, and enterprise software used by millions of people. That work teaches you exactly what separates a website that works from one that just exists.

When we moved to Southbourne, we kept seeing the same thing: local businesses either paying agency prices for straightforward websites, or settling for work that undersells what they do.

Aster Works exists to close that gap — the same level of thinking and craft we brought to large-scale projects, made accessible to small businesses, freelancers and startups across Dorset, the UK and Europe.

This is the aster flower that gives us our name – it comes back every spring on the cliff path down to the beach. We think it symbolises our brand well: small, graceful, bringing hope and colour to the local area.
